Hi, my name is Kallista Ann, and I’m a developmental editor and book coach. My philosophy of editing comes from my belief in collaboration and honesty.
The best way to create a story you’re proud of is in an environment with someone who will get to know your story and champion it while challenging you to sharpen it at the same time. I’m not the type of editor who gives you a laundry list of things wrong in an editorial letter and then sends you on your way. My goal is to help you discover how to actually implement those changes.

We’ll do that through six strategy sessions, where we’ll pin down the theme, plot, characters, timelines, point of view, where the story belongs in the marketplace, and develop an outline.
